Privacy Policy

TiltOut Game (the "App") is a single-player iOS game published by Kevin Sousa / Sousa Stack ("we"). This page explains what the App does and does not do with your information. The short version: we do not collect any personal data ourselves. The longer version is below.

What we collect

Nothing. The App contains no analytics, no advertising, no third-party SDKs, no crash reporting, and no networking other than the Game Center calls described below. We do not have a server. We do not have an account system. We have no way to identify you.

What is stored on your device

The App saves a small amount of data locally on your device using iOS's standard UserDefaults store. This data never leaves your device and is removed when you delete the App:

Your best score and best level reached
Whether you've played before (for the first-run hint)
Whether you've muted in-game sound

Game Center (Apple)

The App uses Apple's Game Center to power its leaderboards. When you play, Game Center may share your Game Center alias and submitted scores with Apple's leaderboard service. We can read your Game Center alias and the score numbers, and we submit scores to two public leaderboards (high score and high level). We do not store this information ourselves; it lives on Apple's servers and is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

You can disable Game Center for the App in iOS Settings → Game Center, or sign out of Game Center entirely. The App still works without it; you just won't appear on the leaderboards.

Motion sensor

The App reads your device's gyroscope in real time to control the ball. This data is processed on-device and never persisted, transmitted, or shared. iOS will ask for your permission the first time the App accesses motion data; you can revoke it at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Motion & Fitness.

Children

The App is rated 4+ and is appropriate for all ages. Because we do not collect any personal data, the App does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change what the App collects, we will update this page and update the "effective" date at the top. The App's behavior today is what's described above.
